IPTA Internal Audit Training Committee is very pleased to organize the 2nd IPTA ACL User Conference and look forward to welcoming you on the 29th to 30th November 2011 at the Universiti Utara Malaysia.
With the ever increasing expectation from the Audit Committee and the University’s management it challenges us to reflect on the present puzzle and think on what and how we can do to support the University’s vision and mission. Coupled with the expansion of audit coverage areas and the limitation of human resources, these have caused extra burden that we have to deal with.
Within this context, the audit tool, namely ACL has been at the forefront to ease our audit processes. Users have experienced the benefit and advantages of ACL. With our own creativity, ACL can add value in the auditing cycle especially the final result i.e. audit report. With the increase of ACL usage by users in the audit work, the conference theme for this year is TEAMWORK + CREATIVITY = SYNERGY. It is time for all users to work as a team and unify our creativity for better work synergy.
Hence, all level of users (Head of Audit, Managers, Team Members) are being challenged to share their ACL works that can be applied by all users in specific audit coverage (Procurement, Payment, Income, Asset, IT). With this, everyone get loads of opportunities to learn from each other and to standardize the type of testing made.
